Seriously Single Too is produced by Johannesburg-based Burnt Onion Productions, the production company behind several South African films and television shows.
Established in 2008, the company has built a catalogue that includes My Perfect Family, Check Coast, Bedford Wives and Redemption, as well as Netflix productions How to Ruin Christmas, How to Ruin Love, Miseducation, Lobola Man and Disaster Holiday.
The company also produced the original Seriously Single, which was released on Netflix in 2020.
Siblings Rethabile Ramaphakela and Katleho Ramaphakela return to direct Seriously Single Too, with Tshepo Ramaphakela, Katleho Ramaphakela and Rethabile Ramaphakela serving as executive producers.
Phuthi Nakene and the Ramaphakela siblings serve as producers, while Lwazi Mvusi wrote the screenplay.
