e.tv has officially announced the cast of its upcoming family drama The Four of Us, which will replace Scandal! in the channel’s 8PM timeslot later this month.
Produced by Tshedza Pictures, the drama series centres on the influential Dhlomo family, where power struggles, old wounds and long-held resentments threaten to destroy a family legacy years in the making.
The series marks Tshedza Pictures’ first-ever production for e.tv and brings together a star-studded cast led by Sindi Dlathu, Sdumo Mtshali, Thembinkosi Mthembu, Hope Mbhele, Dumisani Dlamini and Rami Chuene.

Who is behind The Four of Us?
The Four of Us is produced by Tshedza Pictures, marking the acclaimed production company’s first-ever production for e.tv.
The series is produced by celebrated storytelling duo Phathutshedzo Makwarela and Gwydion Beynon, whose previous productions include The River, Legacy, The Republic, Giyani: Land of Blood, Outlaws, Youngins, Adulting, Gqeberha: The Empire, Champions and Homecoming.

When does The Four of Us premiere?
The Four of Us premieres on e.tv on Monday, 29 June 2026, taking over the 8PM timeslot previously occupied by Scandal!
The long-running soapie will air its final episode on Thursday, 26 June 2026, bringing an end to a remarkable 20-year run that began in 2005 and produced more than 5,000 episodes.
The new drama enters one of South African television’s most competitive time slots and will go head-to-head with SABC1’s popular soapie Generations: The Legacy.
