Netflix has released the latest teaser for The Polygamist, this time shifting focus to Joyce Gomora, played by Gugu Gumede, ahead of the series premiere on 12 June 2026. The new teaser positions Joyce as the emotional centre of the story, a woman who has spent years building a picture-perfect family life while trying to hold together a marriage that is slowly beginning to unravel.
In the series, Joyce and her husband Jonasi Gomora (played S’dumo Mtshali) appear to have built the ideal life from the outside, sharing moments of love, family and success with a loyal social media following.
