Xitsonga artist Nyikiwe Maswanganyi, popularly known as Rhuza De Prod, has lost his home following a fire incident. The artist, known for his track Ntiyiso wa Vutomi, which won Most Popular Song of the Year at the 20th Xitsonga Music Awards, confirmed the news on social media.
Sharing images of the scene, he wrote, “Lah hile kahina… Vanwan miswitwile am here to confirm kur it’s true… nothin came out, fortunately there was no one in the house… we’re all fine buh no shelter. Vutomi i buku ya ntsako na mangava.”
According to available information, the fire destroyed the property and all household belongings, including furniture, with nothing recovered from the scene.
No injuries were reported, as no one was inside the house at the time of the incident. The cause of the fire remains unknown.
