Dubbed as the Queen of Kwaito, Mshoza real name Nomasonto Maswanganyi has passed away. The Kortes hitmake allegedly passed away in a hospital in Johannesburg. The 37-year-old is survived by her two children, her son Jacob Junior and her daughter Pride.
The bubbly Kwaito musician’s impressive career spans for more than two decades with her timeless hit Kortez being her most memorable to date. She started singing at the tender age of 10 and started dancing for kwaito group, Chiskop between the years 1998 and 1999 . She signed her very first deal in the year 1998 at the young age of 15.
She made a huge comeback with her hit ‘Abantu Bam’ Laba’ and mentored many celebrities who were new in the industry.
Many are touched by her sudden passing and expressed their shock after receiving the news.
