Kazier Chiefs, under new coach Gavin Hunt, overcame Maritzburg United 2-1 at FNB Stadium.
Orlando Pirates on the other hand, beat Cape Town City 1-0 to book a spot.
Dates and venues for the double-legged semi-final ties will be confirmed at a later stage.
