After three and half years since her departure from the 19:30 pm soapie Scandal, actress Masasa Mbangeni returns to our screens as Thembeka Shezi.
The conniving, deceptive and ruthless Thembeka is back and ready to cause havoc. Masasa left Scandal in 2016 to pursue other interests. Her character left the show with a lot of controversy.
Since then, Masasa went on to star in theatre productions while still appearing on our television screens on shows such as Harvest,The River , The Republic, Thola, It’s Complicated and Housekeepers
Thembeka Shezi earned Masasa the SAFTA Golden Horn for Best Actress in a leading role.
Masasa is set to appear on December 31st 2019. She will be acting alongside Bongile Mantsai’s character, Mthuzi Mayiza. The two will team up and viewers should expect the unexpected.
