Couples across Limpopo and beyond are invited into a powerful space of reconnection, healing, and growth as the Fifth Annual Being One Again Couple Conference returns from 31 July to 2 August 2026 at Xilumani Hotel in Giyani, Section A.
Hosted by Munghana Lonene FM personality Khensani Nyango, the conference has grown into one of the province’s most impactful relationship-focused gatherings, creating a platform for couples to strengthen communication, rebuild connection, and navigate the realities of modern relationships.
Building stronger relationships, one conversation at a time
According to Nyango, the conference was born out of a simple but important observation: many couples share a home but live separate lives.
“Being One Again began with the observation that many couples live together but lead separate lives. Marriages often break down due to small daily disconnections such as poor communication, financial stress, and unspoken expectations,” she explains.
She says the lack of relationship-focused events in Limpopo also inspired the initiative, which has continued to grow since its inception.
Today, the conference represents hope for couples facing challenges in their relationships.
“Every year, I see couples arrive tired and guarded but leave committed to choosing each other again. This ‘again’ is significant. It is not about returning to the past but about actively building a stronger relationship with new tools and a renewed heart.”
Creating space for honest conversations
Over the course of the weekend, attendees will participate in discussions, workshops, and bonding activities designed to encourage meaningful connection.
The programme tackles topics many couples struggle to discuss openly, including communication, finances, intimacy, mental health, and family dynamics.
Nyango believes these conversations are more important now than ever before.
“The pressure on families is at an all-time high, economically, socially, and digitally, pulling couples in various directions. When relationships falter, the consequences affect the entire community, from children and extended families to workplaces and churches.”
She adds that many people suffer silently in their relationships because they believe they are alone in their struggles.
“Open, honest discussions about marriage and emotional well-being help eliminate shame. They reassure individuals that they are not failing. They are human, and there are solutions available.”
Real impact beyond the conference
Over the past four editions, Nyango says one of the biggest transformations she has witnessed has been in the way couples communicate.
“The most noticeable change is in communication. Couples arrive talking at each other and leave learning to communicate with each other.”
She recalls one couple who barely spoke to one another on their way to the conference but later shared that they had introduced weekly relationship check-ins after attending a session.
For Nyango, these stories demonstrate that lasting change often begins with small, practical steps.
What attendees can expect in 2026
This year’s conference will feature speakers and facilitators covering various aspects of relationships and personal growth.
Nyango says attendees can expect to leave with clarity, practical tools, and renewed hope.
“Couples will be seen because we recognise that marriage is not easy. We provide a safe space for honest dialogue without judgement.”
She says attendees will walk away with a deeper understanding of what healthy relationships require, practical strategies for everyday challenges, and the confidence that positive change remains possible regardless of where they currently find themselves.

More than an event
As conversations around relationships and emotional wellness continue to gain momentum in South Africa, the Being One Again Couple Conference has evolved into more than just an annual gathering.
It has become a platform where couples are encouraged to reconnect, heal and intentionally invest in their relationships, one conversation at a time.
