After an acting break due to a long battle with COVID-19, Thembi Mdoda-Nxumalo is back on our screens. The former Our Perfect Wedding presenter is joining e.tv’s House of Zwide to play former model and pageant owner, Nikiwe Ndlovu.
Nikiwe and fashion icon Funani (played by Vusi Kunene) have great history together – he truly believes that Nikiwe doesn’t deserve to be in the position she is today as she stole Funani’s designs and claimed they were hers, thereby ruining Funani’s reputation. Faith (played by Winnie Ntshaba) and Zanele (played by Londeka Mchunu) meanwhile want to use Miss Africa as a platform to showcase House Of Zwide‘s dresses, but that’ll be over Funani’s dead body…
Her production credits include a short stint on The Queen as a temporary replacement after actress Zandile Msutwana sustained an injury on set. Thembisa makes her debut this week on Thursday 24 February.
House of Zwide airs weeknights on e.tv at 7 PM.
