Actress and TV Presenter Thembisa Mdoda-Nxumalo is joining The Queen for a character takeover. The former OPW will fill in the shoes of Zandile Msutwana who plays Vuyiswa Maake on the telenovela.
According to a statement released by Mzansi Magic, Zandile sustained an injury while on set and cannot continue shooting and has been booked off by the doctor to recover at home. While she recovers, Thembisa will step in and take over the character of Vuyiswa Maake from the 19th of April.
“We have no doubt that with Thembisa’s immense talent and skills, along with the support and guidance she has received from Msutwana, the character of Vuyiswa Maake will continue to steal the hearts of the viewers.”, read part of the statement.
Thembisa has. She was and had a stint on Isibaya season 1 and 8 as Amanda. She also played the character of on Unmarried.
“We wish Msutwana a speedy recovery and look forward to her return soonest.”, concluded the statement.
