Rihanna’s musical hiatus for the past five years since her album Anti hasn’t slowed her down. Instead, her ventures in beauty and fashion have propelled her to billionaire status at just 33, according to Forbes Magazine. Robyn Fenty, known professionally as Rihanna, has found immense success beyond the music industry.
Forbes reports that the renowned singer behind hits like Diamonds has amassed a staggering fortune estimated at approximately $1.7 billion (R24.4 billion), solidifying her position as the wealthiest female musician globally. This places her as the second richest female entertainer, trailing only behind Oprah Winfrey. The bulk of her wealth, around $1.4 billion (R20.1 billion), stems from her ownership stake in Fenty Beauty, where she holds a 50% share.
Launching in 2017, Fenty Beauty disrupted traditional beauty standards with its inclusive approach, catering to a diverse range of skin tones and genders. The brand’s success is underscored by its joint venture with luxury conglomerate LVMH. Additionally, Rihanna’s financial portfolio includes a significant stake in Savage x Fenty, a lingerie company valued at approximately $270 million (R3.9 billion), alongside earnings from her thriving music and acting career.
