Ahead of the premiere on Monday 21 September, MultiChoice and M-Net have announced their plan to make M-Net which is a DStv Premium channel, available to its DStv Compact Plus, Compact, Family and Access subscribers from 21 – 24 September, from 19:00-19:30 only. The telenovela will also be available on DStv Catch up via Explora and on DStv Now.
This means most DStv Subscribers will be able to enjoy the much-anticipated first-of-its-kind telenovela Legacy. Legacy will be broadcast from Mondays to Thursday with each episode running for 30 minutes. To accommodate the start of Legacy, M-Net’s schedule will move 30 minutes later than usual. This means The Single Wives SA and Inconceivable and will be broadcast at 19:30 and 20:30.
Legacy is the brainchild of TV duo Phathutshedzo Makwarela and Gywdion Beynon and follows the story of the super-wealthy Price family, patriarch Sebastian Price who is approaching retirement and one of his family members will soon have to take over the reins. His ruthless first-born daughter has her eye on the position of CEO and she will do about anything to ensure she gets it. Who will it be? And at what price?
The outstanding ensemble cast includes Deon Lotz, Michelle Botes, Kgomotso Christopher, Mary-anne Barlow, Reandi Grey, Jay Anstey, Anton David Jeftha, Dawid Minnaar, Sean-Marco Voster, Trix Vivier, Siyabonga Thwala, Leeanda Reddy, and Don Mlangeni Nawa.
Legacy airs from 21 September 2020, M-Net DSTV Channel 101 at 7PM every Monday – Thursday
