In November 2020, Lunga bid The River farewell after his character Lindani Dlomo was killed off on the telenovela. He now makes returns to the small screen to join M-Net’s Legacy. This is his second acting job with Tshedza Pictures.
He will play Simangaliso ‘Sims’ Zulu. Sims is the first-born son of Msizi Zulu (played by Siyabonga Thwala), born outside of wedlock. He grew up mostly with his mother, but Msizi always made sure he had all the comforts and benefits of his great wealth.
Simz is smart, well-spoken, kind, and utterly charming. His storyline brings about a bit of rockiness to the story and causes a rift between two close friends at the Legacy Investment offices. Friendships will be tested, and allies will be made. Lunga makes his debut tonight.
Legacy airs Mondays – Thursdays on M-Net DSTV Channel 101 at 7 PM.
