As Capricorn FM ushers in the new year, the station is poised to reaffirm its position as Limpopo’s premier radio frequency. Known for delivering captivating moments and engaging content over the past 14 years, Capricorn FM is kicking off 2022 with a fresh rebranding and revamped show lineup to better cater to its listeners’ needs.
New line-up starting 1 March
• Itu Banda will host the Capricorn Adventure, airing weekdays from 12 PM to 3 PM. Banda will also add a feminine touch on Saturdays with the Capricorn PLUG between 2 and 6pm formerly known as the Saturday PLUG . She takes over from Ms. Kulie who has parted ways with the station to pursue other interests. Dee Nkomo will now host the Capricorn Drive solo, weekdays from 3 PM to 6 PM. Having previously co-hosted The Urban Lunch Experience and Just Drive, Banda and Nkomo will now each lead their own shows in the station’s new lineup.
• Clifford Manganyi steps up from producer to host, hosting Sports on Capricorn every Friday from 6 PM to 7 PM. Manganyi previously worked as the producer for the Sports Precinct for 2 years.
• Mandla Maluleke joins the station to host the Capricorn Cruise, formerly The After Glow, on Sundays from 6 PM to 9 PM.
