TRESOR gains full ownership of his first albums

Renowned musician TRESOR has made a significant move to secure his artistic legacy by acquiring the masters of his first two albums, VII and The Beautiful Madness, from Vth Season. This deal, facilitated through his independent company, Jacquel Entertainment Group, marks an important milestone in TRESOR’s career.

In a statement on X (formerly Twitter), TRESOR announced, “Proud to announce that I have acquired full ownership of both my debut and sophomore albums through @JacquelMusicGrp from @vthseason. These albums changed my life and I am forever grateful 💎.”

Taking ownership of his early works allows TRESOR to have complete control over his music catalogue. He expressed his commitment to independence, stating, “As an independent artist, taking full ownership of my music has always been a key priority for me. Acquiring the masters for my early work allows me to fully control my catalogue, ensuring that my legacy is protected and my creative journey remains mine to navigate.”

TRESOR’s partnership with Vth Season has been fruitful, with co-founders Raphael Benza and Ninel Musson being instrumental during the creation of VII and The Beautiful Madness. They now transition into advisory roles for TRESOR’s future projects under Jacquel Entertainment Group. Benza who signed Tresor to Vth Season where his debut and sophomore albums won Best Pop Album at the SAMAS shares remarked, “We’re proud of the journey we had with TRESOR and even more proud to see him be in a position to acquire the masters and continue to build his legacy. We will continue to play a supportive and strategic role in TRESOR’s music career as he embarks on this exciting new chapter.”
