Having joined Kaya FM as host of the Kaya FM Top 40 in 2016, Proverb real name Tebogo Thekisho is bidding the station farewell. At the time of his departure, he was the host of Kayasette on Fridays and The Winner’s Circle on Saturdays.
On the Kayasette, he spotlighted local musicians through in-depth interviews and the Live & Unplugged Sessions. While on The Winner’s Circle he led insightful conversations with trailblazers in business and entertainment.
“Thank you so much, Kaya FM. I’m eternally grateful for the wonderful experience and opportunity. My deepest gratitude to Afropolitans for spending their weekends with me the last four years, all the best and God Bless”, said ProVerb.
The Kaya family will miss ProVerb dearly. Both of his shows have been a part of the station’s story, and we are sad to see him go. We thank him for his service, his incredible work ethic and the wonderful energy he brought to the station.

Liberty Radio Awards 2019 – Bright Inductee DJ Keyz will stand-in for Proverb until a replacement is announced.
