Khanyi Mbau, the acclaimed actress and former socialite, has recently undergone a new facelift, adding to her extensive list of cosmetic enhancements. Known for her history of liposuction, breast augmentation, tummy tuck, eyebrow lift, and skin lightening treatments, Mbau’s latest procedure has garnered significant attention.
Mbau, who has long aimed to achieve a Barbie doll-like appearance, continues to pursue this beauty ideal. Now residing in Dubai, she has shared her surgical journey with her fans. This procedure included a blepharoplasty to remove excess skin from her eyelids and a subnasal lip lift to refine her lip shape.
In her Instagram caption, Mbau humorously detailed her post-surgery experience. “Now we bake, bought a new face,” she wrote. “I know, I know—it’s still very fresh and super tight. It will take a few weeks for it to ‘cook.’ I grew tired of Botox and fillers every three months, so I’m now looking for a permanent solution to a structured, tight face.”
She thanked Dr. Merve from @monocosmeticsurgery for his skillful work and mentioned feeling like she’s “wrapped in cling wrap” while she awaits the final results. “It’s still going to get worse before it gets better,” she added, also expressing gratitude towards Mert, her personal nurse, for making the experience comfortable.
Before opting for the facelift, Mbau had experimented with facial threads, a non-surgical technique that lifts and rejuvenates the skin by stimulating collagen production. Despite her satisfaction with these methods, she sought a more enduring solution.
