Good Hope FM launches campus presenter search

Good Hope FM, Cape Town’s original radio station, is on the hunt for the next big thing in radio with its #GoodHopeFMCampusPresenterSearch. This is your chance to step into the spotlight and join the ranks of radio stars like Nick Hamman, Dalin Oliver, and Kyeezi.



The search is set to kick off with a blend of live on-campus auditions and online submissions. If you’ve got the charisma and passion for radio, this could be your golden ticket. The lucky winners will snag R5 000 in cash and a spot in Good Hope FM’s renowned training program.

How to get involved:
• Online auditions:
Register at [www.goodhopefm.co.za or download the Good Hope FM app for iOS and Android. Fill out the entry form, listen to a demo by Kyeezi, and upload your own sound bite to show why you deserve a chance behind the mic.

• On-campus auditions:
Good Hope FM will visit campuses across Cape Town. If you’re a registered student, you can audition live on the following dates and locations:
  – Monday, August 5 :Cape Peninsula University of Technology, District 6 Campus
  – Wednesday, August 7: Northlink Tygerberg Campus
  – Thursday, August 15: University of the Western Cape

Simply complete the entry form on-site, participate in the live-read audition, and stick around to hear if you’ve been shortlisted. The top student from each campus will win amazing prizes and advance to The Great Finale.

The Finale :
The top three campus winners and two online finalists will compete in a thrilling final challenge on August 28, 2024, live on The Great Drive with Kyeezi at the SABC’s Sea Point Auditorium. The event will be streamed live across social media platforms, making it a must-watch showdown.
