Cardi B is celebrating a new chapter in her life, revealing she’s expecting her third child following her recent divorce filing from rapper Offset. The Grammy-winning artist shared the joyous news on social media with photos of herself showcasing her baby bump in a stunning red gown and fur coat.
In her post, Cardi B, whose real name is Belcalis Almanzar, wrote, “With every ending comes a new beginning! I am so grateful to have shared this season with you, you have brought me more love, more life and most of all renewed my power! Reminded me that I can have it all! You’ve reminded me that I never have to choose between life, love, and my passion! I love you so much and can not wait for you to witness what you helped me accomplish, what you pushed me to do! It’s so much easier taking life’s twists, turns and test laying down, but you, your brother and your sister have shown me why it’s worth it to push through!”
The announcement comes shortly after Cardi B confirmed her separation from Offset, her husband of nearly seven years. Despite their separation, the couple is preparing to welcome their third child. They already share two children, Kulture, 5, and Wave, 2.
Cardi B had previously spoken about the challenges in her marriage during an interview with Rolling Stone, acknowledging the difficulties of balancing her career and family life. She expressed the complex dynamics of their relationship, noting, “My career comes first, then my kids, and sometimes my relationship takes a back seat.”
