Bonang Matheba Set To Replace Thuso Mbedu As L’Oreal Brand Ambassador

Bonang Matheba, media personality and entrepreneur, is reported to have joined global beauty brand L’Oréal. ZiMoja reports that a source has told them that she is in the process of replacing Thuso Mbedu as L’Oréal brand ambassador. According to the source, Bonang and her team approached the international brand, and they couldn’t resist. “She knows her story. She gave a very impressive pitch. “She’s going to start shooting with the brand next weekend and she’ll be travelling with them.” added the source.

Thuso Mbedu was announced as L’Oréal’s first Black brand ambassador and spokesperson for sub-Saharan Africa in October year as part of the “Because I’m Worth It” campaign, which aimed to empower women. The source stated that Bonang would be introduced as a digital ambassador, and they are unsure about Thuso’s contract status.

Bonang made history when she became Revlon’s first brand ambassador outside the US.
