South African superstar Elaine continues to make strides in her career. The You’re The One hitmaker has been nominated for a BET Award in the Viewers Choice: International Act category. She is nominated alongside Arlo Parks from the UK, French singer Bramsito, Bree Runway from the UK, Mc Dricka from Brazil, French singer Ronisia and Nigeria’s Tems.
Taking to social media, the singer posted: “Patience is virtue, the heart works best when humble & God is faithful. Wouldn’t be here without my shining stars. Love you guys.”

The voting lines for the category will be open from 4 PM on Monday, 7 June to Friday, 11 June at 4 PM.

This year’s BET Awards nominees list were announced last month with Megan Thee Stallion and DaBaby leading with seven nominations respectively. African heavyweights Wizkid, Burnaboy and Diamond Platnumz scored three nominations in the best international act category.
The show will simulcast live at 2 AM CAT on June 28 making its international broadcast premiere on BET Africa DStv Channel 129. The show will repeat on June 28 at 7 PM with the pre-show CAT and BET Awards Main Show at 8 PM CAT.
