Mzansi Magic’s acclaimed drama eHostela is gearing up for third season, set to premiere on July 3rd, with a thrilling new storyline and cast. Embracing the anthology series format, the upcoming season promises to deliver the same gripping tone and mood that fans have come to love.
Previously set in KwaMashu, eHostela now shifts its focus to Bergville, introducing a fresh narrative anchored by veteran actor Siyabonga Thwala and the talented Gcina Nkosi in pivotal roles. Alongside them are Tony Kgoroge, Xoli Zondi, Nkanyiso Mchunu, and Mduduzi Nombela, all bringing their unique flair to this new chapter of the series produced by Rhythm World Productions.

In this 13-episode season, viewers will follow KaMabizela (portrayed by Gcina Nkosi), a determined widow seeking justice against Ngwadi (played by Siyabonga Thwala), the ruthless gangster responsible for her husband’s betrayal and murder. Set against the backdrop of the KwaDukuza hostel, the series explores themes of vengeance, loyalty, and the consequences of power dynamics within a criminal underworld.
eHostela Season 3 premieres on Mzansi Magic DStv Channel 161 on Sunday 3 July at 8 PM.
